Migration into the region is at an all time high, and jobs growth is surging. Most of the decline in overseas departures from the Manawatu region since 2012 is in the population aged under 40 years.  Combine that with record resource consents, by dollar value and number and then think about the spending coming into the region in the form of roading, the Mitre 10 building, and Toyota, BUPA and the airport all going through expansions, the story in this region is very positive.
